Annual Giving

Like all universities, Salve Regina depends upon annual financial support from alumni, parents and friends to continue its central mission of preparing men and women to lead responsible lives. To foster meaningful giving opportunities, several annual giving programs are available to help meet student and university needs.

Annual Fund

Salve Regina's Annual Fund continues to thrive, thanks to the generous support of alumni, parents and friends. The Annual Fund serves as the "nuts and bolts" for financing the University's greatest needs. Annual Fund support ensures the future of Salve Regina by providing funds for students, faculty, programs, facilities and technology.

Phonathon

The Annual Fund phonathon program is an excellent means of keeping in touch with our alumni and current parents. Salve Regina's phonathon team is staffed by work-study students who directly benefit from Annual Fund dollars. The phonathon callers work hard to help the University reach its fundraising goals.

Reunion Giving

Silver Anniversary Legacy Scholarship Fund

Inaugurated in 2009, the Silver Anniversary Legacy Scholarship Fund commemorates the 25th reunion celebrations. Gifts made to this fund directly benefit incoming freshman whose parents are Salve Regina alumni.

Salve Regina University 50th Anniversary Endowed Scholarship Fund

Established in 2002, the Salve Regina University 50th Anniversary Endowed Scholarship Fund has continued to grow each year through gifts from 50th reunion classes. The 50th Anniversary Scholarship is awarded annually to a junior or senior who exemplifies commitment to the Salve Regina community through involvement in one or more of the following areas: student government, clubs/activities, athletics or community service. This student will carry the Salve Regina spirit beyond graduation and remain a loyal and involved alumna/us.

Since 1998, Salve Regina seniors have shown their pride by making a class gift to their University.

Gift Clubs & Recognition

Salve Regina University is grateful for gifts at any level. Every gift counts toward the goal of growing our family of loyal supporters. All donors, including alumni, parents, corporations, foundations and friends are recognized in our annual donor report Gifts & Grants. Donors are recognized in the following categories:

• Mercy Society $25,000+
• Founder Society $10,000-$24,999
• President Associate $5,000-$9,999
• McAuley Society $2,500-$4,999
• Blue & White Society $1,000-$2,499
• Campus Benefactor $500-$999
• Student Champion $250-$499
• Scholar Patron $100-$249

Loyalty Circle

The Loyalty Circle recognizes graduates who have had 10 or more years of cumulative giving including the current fund year. Regardless of the amount of your gift, it is your consistent support that the Loyalty Circle recognizes. Consider joining this growing group of more than 1,400 loyal alumni by saying "yes" each and every year.
