The Office of Human Resources is located on the second floor of Ochre Court, the administration building, at 100 Ochre Point Ave., Newport, RI 02840-4192.

Do I need to send my references initially?

Names of three references may be attached as part of your online application. If you have letters of reference they can be brought to campus if you are contacted for an interview.

How do I find out about the status of my application?

If you submitted an application and resume online for an open position, you will receive an e-mail acknowledging receipt of your submission. Should your qualifications match what the department is seeking, you may be contacted to schedule an interview. Please note that the University receives many applications and, as such, the process can stretch over a number of weeks, and on occasion, months. If you are not the successful candidate, you will receive an e-mail notification that the position has been filled.
