NEWPORT, R.I. – Dolph Johnson, senior vice president of Global Human Resources for Hasbro Inc., will be a guest speaker in the business studies class of Arlene Nicholas on Tuesday, April 12.
This guest lecture is not open to the public or the press.
Johnson’s career at Hasbro spans 14 years during which he has held responsibility for a variety of different aspects encompassing global human resources, organizational and leadership development, succession planning, compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, employee engagement and communications and HR information systems.
Prior to Hasbro, Johnson served as an executive with Frito Lay and Ecolab.
Johnson is a member of World at Work and is on the board of directors for The Pawtucket Foundation, board of visitors for Northeastern University and board of advisors for Year Up, an intensive training program that provides young adults with a unique combination of technical and professional skills empowering them to succeed in livable-wage careers.
He holds a Ph.D in organizational psychology from Old Dominion University, and both a master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in psychology from James Madison University.
