Featuring handprints from 141 faculty and staff members, this "tree of hands" quilt by Christine Bagley, curriculum resources librarian, celebrates the diversity of the Salve Regina community. During the dedication of the Antone Academic Center Sept. 28, 2008, President M. Therese Antone, RSM, called the tree represented by the quilt "a growing tree that will bloom for many, many years to come.

"The employees here - the faculty and staff - have enriched my life and made my dream come true," Sister Therese continued. "They are committed to the university's mission, our students and the traditions of the Sisters of Mercy, and that shines through every single day."
