Community & Retreats

Multi-faith Celebrations

We value the richness that diverse religious traditions bring to our campus community. The Mercy Center for Spiritual Life promotes events and programs that highlight and celebrate this diversity. The Viva Mercy! celebration recognizes members of our community that live the virtue of mercy. The Festival of Lights gives voice to the many ways that our traditions pray for peace. "Experiencing Exodus Together" is a Seder in the Jewish tradition that encourages us to think about the liberating power of God in our lives. We are open to new ideas and hope to continue these wonderful traditions.

Retreats

The Mercy Center for Spiritual Life offers two major retreats each year - one in the fall semester and one in the spring semester. The retreats are open to the entire student body regardless of religious affiliation. While the retreats vary in content and topic, all are designed to help you to focus on your spiritual life and to center yourself in God. Students, staff and invited guests prepare the talks. The atmosphere is congenial and supportive, the food is great, and you can't beat the company of other students.
