The Mercy Center for Spiritual Life encourages and supports religious and spiritual life on the Salve Regina Campus. We have our roots and find our focus in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the rich heritage of the Catholic Church and the charism of the Sisters of Mercy. In keeping with the mission of the University, we warmly welcome people of all beliefs to engage in a lively and respectful practice of their faith, to seek wisdom, to promote universal justice and to deepen their relationship with God.
Activities are planned and organized by the Mercy Center Student Council, an energetic and welcoming community of students from diverse religious traditions. Through friendship, service, study and prayer the council encourages and assists others to enter into a sincere, intelligent and loving relationship with God, to live the works of Mercy in service to one another, and to deepen personal commitments to faith traditions and spiritual practices. In collaboration with the professional staff of the Mercy Center, the council meets weekly to plan a variety of events, to engage in service and prayer, and to just take a break from hectic campus life. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
