Tips for Students
Lighting: Turn it off. An overlit dorm room creates an annoying glare on computer screens and your roommate. Use compact flourescent desk lighting as needed.
Leaky faucets, dripping showers or running toilets: If you have them, pick up the phone and call the facilities department or file a FIXX report online.
Showers: Get in, get out. An extra two minutes in a shower wastes more than 5 gallons of water.
