Accelerated Five-Year Program

Salve Regina University provides students with the excellent opportunity to earn both a bachelor's and a master's degree in an accelerated period of time. Five-year, five-and-half-year and six-year bachelor/master's degree programs are designed for the University's highly motivated and academically qualified students and require timely planning and coordination of the undergraduate and graduate curricula.

Five-Year, Five-and-a-Half-Year and Six Year Bachelor-Master's Degree Programs

  • Administration of Justice (B.A. and M.S.) - Five Years
  • Business Administration (B.A. or B.S. and M.B.A.) - Five Years
  • Holistic Counseling (B.A. or B.S. and M.A.) - Six Years
  • International Relations (B.A. or B.S. and M.A.) - Five Years
  • Management (B.A. or B.S. and M.S.) - Five Years
  • Rehabilitation Counseling (B.A. or B.S. and M.A.) - Five and-a-Half Years

On-Campus and Online

Depending on the program, students may attend classes on campus in Newport, at the Blackstone Valley Visitor Center in Pawtucket, or explore the online options through eSalve. Many students accelerate completion of their degree by taking a combination of on campus and online courses simultaneously.

Applying

Candidates for the accelerated master's degree programs must apply by March 15th of their junior year. Applicants should have a grade point average of at least 3.30 and should expect to take four graduate courses in their senior year-six credits apply toward the baccalaureate degree and six credits apply toward the master's degree. Final acceptance is conditioned upon successfully completing the undergraduate degree. Students interested in pursuing one of these programs should contact the Office of Academic Advising as soon as they develop that interest.
