Catholic School Leadership
Our certificate program in Catholic school leadership is designed for education professionals who aspire to leadership and senior administration positions in Catholic schools, along with current Catholic school leaders seeking to strengthen their understanding of the Catholic school mission and operations for more effective leadership.
Our curriculum is based on the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools. Coursework pairs education leadership skills with Catholic charism and culture for a deeper understanding of what it means to lead a Catholic educational institution.
Our program operates as a cohort, with students beginning during the summer and finishing the following summer, allowing them to complete the program in approximately one year through a combination of on-campus meetings and online interactive coursework.
Applicants should have an undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and a minimum five years teaching experience or experience in their area of expertise. Completed applications are due by May 1.
