"Great Power Rivalry and U.S. Foreign Policy in the Trump Era" will be moderated by Dr. Iskander Rehman, senior fellow for international relations at Salve Regina's Pell Center for International Relations and Public Policy. Panelists will include Dr. Thomas Wright and Dr. James Goldgeier.

Wright is director of the Center for the United States and Europe at the Brookings Institution and senior fellow in the institution's project on international order and strategy. He will provide an overview of some of the main themes of his book, "All Measures Short of War: The Contest for the 21st Century and the Future of American Power," before giving his assessment of how the Trump administration has chosen to navigate this difficult geopolitical environment.

Goldgeier is professor of international relations at American University and visiting senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations.
