Service Sites

Salve Regina encourages students to live out the mission by giving back to the local Aquidneck Island community. Beyond the Newport mansions, there is a great deal of need surrounding our campus, and as a result there are ample opportunities for students to get involved with community-based agencies and nonprofits.

These service sites work on a wide range of issues - from environmental conservation to education to homelessness and poverty - and each depends greatly on the time and support of dedicated volunteers. Working with a service site enables students to develop a strong connection to the Aquidneck Island community and allows them to apply their classroom learning to a real-world environment.

Current students who are interested in volunteering with any of the organizations listed above should contact them directly. For more information, email community.services@salve.edu.
