The Application Process

At Salve Regina, our goal is to make the application process clear and easy for you. The snapshot provided below will give you a better understanding of what to expect throughout the application process.

  • Apply online using the Common Application (with supplement).
  • After applying, have your guidance counselor forward all supplemental documentation (transcript, letters of recommendation, resume, etc). Please allow up to two weeks for this information to be delivered to the Office of Admissions and matched up with your application.
  • Early Action applicants: Your application must be received by Nov. 1 and completed by Dec. 1 to receive an admission decision by Dec. 25.
  • Regular decision applicants: Your application must be received by Feb. 1 and completed by Feb. 15. Applications received after this date will be considered on a space available basis.
  • If you are deferred from Early Action to the regular decision pool, please have your mid-year grades forwarded to our office when they are reported.
  • If you are applying with an interest in nursing or education, have your SAT/ACT scores electronically forwarded to the University.
  • All students will receive a final notification of their admission decision by April 1. Please call or e-mail your admissions counselor if you have any questions pertaining to the status of your application.
