Expressive and Creative Arts

Our Certificate of Graduate Studies (CGS) programs provide students with opportunities for professional development without the formal pursuit of a graduate degree, while the Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) programs provide students with opportunities to continue their graduate studies upon completion of a master’s degree program.

CGS in the Professional Applications of the Expressive and Creative Arts

The CGS in the professional applications of the expressive and creative arts is designed for individuals who have a degree in such fields as education, psychology or social work and seek to incorporate the expressive and creative arts into their professional work. To earn this certificate, students must successfully complete five courses (15 credits) on topics in the expressive and creative arts.

M.A. and CAGS in Holistic Counseling: Concentration in the Professional Applications of the Expressive and Creative Arts

The 63-credit M.A. and CAGS program in holistic counseling with a concentration in the professional applications of the expressive and creative arts provides students with an opportunity to specialize in the use of the expressive and creative arts in such fields as education, counseling and human services. To earn this degree and certificate, students must successfully complete courses on topics in holistic counseling and the expressive and creative arts.

M.A. and CAGS in Holistic Leadership: Concentration in the Professional Applications of the Expressive and Creative Arts

The 51-credit M.A. and CAGS program in holistic leadership with a concentration in the professional applications of the expressive and creative arts provides students with an opportunity to specialize in the use of the expressive and creative arts in such fields as business, education and human services. To earn this degree and certificate, students must successfully complete courses on topics in holistic leadership and the expressive and creative arts.
