Conferences and Weddings

Whether the occasion is a student cookout on a residence hall lawn or a Newport Music Festival concert in Ochre Court's great hall, the Office of Conferences and Events at Salve Regina serves as a resource for members of the Salve Regina community and the general public planning conferences, events and weddings at the University.

Conferences and Events

With the exception of academic classes, athletic events and student activities, all events are scheduled through the Office of Conferences and Events. Conference and event space is available for groups legally connected with Salve Regina, groups that can demonstrate an affiliation or relationship with a Salve Regina department or organization, and private, nonprofit organizations. Space on campus is not intended for individual use.

Weddings

Space for both Catholic and non-denominational wedding ceremonies may be reserved by Salve Regina graduates, current students, faculty and staff, along with those who have no affiliation to the University. Wedding receptions are not permitted on campus.

Non-denominational weddings are held in the great hall of Ochre Court, while Catholic ceremonies take place in the new Our Lady of Mercy Chapel.
