The Angel Trees, from which individuals pick a tag and purchase a gift item for a local child in need, have once again appeared throughout campus. All members of the Salve Regina community are invited to participate in the Angel Tree program.

One could say that Berlin is a second home to sociology and anthropology major Jessi McNeill '18. Thanks to study abroad and internship experiences, the Connecticut native has spent more time in the German capital this year than she has on U.S. soil.

Alissa Bertram, who previously served as the registrar at Fisher College in Boston, has been named registrar at Salve Regina. Her appointment officially began Nov. 13.

Salve Regina and Rhode Island native Ann Hood – the best-selling author of 14 novels, three memoirs and books for young adults – have teamed up to launch The Newport MFA, the state’s first low-residency Master of Fine Arts degree program in creative writing.
