Class of 2021

Welcome to Salve Regina! You will soon begin the next phase of your academic journey as a member of our campus community. This webpage provides important information you will need to make your transition to the University as seamless as possible. It will be updated often, so bookmark it and check it regularly.

Explorientation

Explorientation helps new students meet people, learn about Salve Regina and its campus and prepare for a successful year in college. During Explorientation, students meet their First Year Experience peer mentor, who co-facilitates the First Year Transitions (FYT) course with an instructor. Peer mentors are current students who have volunteered to support new students as they transition into our social and scholarly community. The week also includes the academic Convocation, Day of Service, Club Rush, student employment job fair, trips to downtown Newport and many other events.

Health Forms

Members of the Class of 2021 who have not yet submitted their health forms to Health Services should do so as soon as possible. Once your physician has completed and signed pages 3, 4 and 5, you may return the form by mail, fax or email. Please note that Health Services will accept an old physical examination form (page 3) as long as an updated form is submitted when it becomes available.

Students who do not submit a completed health record will be unable to register for spring 2018 courses until the form is received.

Questions? Contact Health Services at (401) 341-2904 or healthservices@salve.edu.
